The Asian Solidarity Delegation held a press Conference at the Parliament Hill Ottawa, December 9th 2010. This delegation representing asbestos victims, trade unions, and Asian health organizations, called on the Canadian Government to close the asbestos mine in Quebec and ban the exportation of asbestos. Press Conference included asbestos activists Kazumi Yoshizaki from Japan and Omana George from AMRC. The delegation was joined by NDP MPs Pat Martin, Winnipeg-Centre, Thomas Mulcair, Outremont, and Nathan Cullen, Skeena-Bulkley Valley.
